What are the Key Updates in Zoho Assist?
Self-Service Portal:
Customers may access a technician faster and more easily through Assist's Self-Service Portal. When they submit a request, a qualified technician will be assigned to them, and they will be helped as quickly as feasible.
Public Client Portal:
This is a significant enhancement to Assist's Self-Service Portal function. Customers will no longer be required to undertake portal authentication in order to submit service requests following the release of this update.
Multi-Monitor Navigation:
This Assist navigation tool will assist technicians in navigating via many monitors at the remote user's side. To make it easier for technicians to move between the monitors, our team of specialists incorporated view kinds, a notice button, and a preview option.
Session Supervision:
The Session Supervision feature in Zoho Assist now allows you to monitor inbound and outbound sessions. The monitor option has been added to the list of ongoing remote assistance sessions. As and when needed, the technician might use this option to supervise the session.
Guest User Invitation:
If a technician with a Zoho Assist account needs additional input or support during a session, they may now invite secondary technicians from inside and outside the business. After completing the authentication procedure, the secondary technician can take control of the session.
File Transfer for Android devices:
During an active remote assistance session, Assist for Android now has a File Transmission capability that allows for quick transfer of files up to 2GB. The technician and the customer can share demo movies, driver data, and more.
App Lock for Mobile App:
A new layer of protection has been added to the Assist mobile app. The app lock function in mobile apps allows you to establish a PIN or biometric lock, after which the app will automatically lock when the time restriction has passed.
Enhanced UI for Customer Console – Mac:
Our team improved the Mac customer console's user interface to make it easier to access important services including File Transfer, Audio/Video Chat, and the Participants list.
Our list of useful Assist integrations is growing.
Zoho Assist is now connected with many other Zoho and third-party applications, allowing users to conduct remote sessions directly from the app. Let's have a look at the new Assist integrations.
Zoho Bookings:
Bookings with Assist makes it easy for technicians to stay on top of their sessions. They can schedule, sync and cancel sessions; request information about any changes in the session; and more, all quickly.
Zoho CRM:
Assist's integration with CRM makes it easy to summon a technician from anywhere in your business. Simply add the CRM from the Zoho Marketplace and you’re good to go!
Zoho Flow:
Flow-Assist integration gives you the ability to automate your business workflow according to your needs. You can, for example, set up a trigger to start a remote support session when a customer has been absent from their system for more than 24 hours.
Slack:
With an account on Slack, you can now initiate, cancel, schedule, and view scheduled remote support sessions with the help of slash commands. Open a chat window in Slack and enter the relevant slash command to access Zoho Assist quickly.
Along with these broad capabilities and connections, our teams have created and launched other upgrades to maximize Assist's functioning and user experience for both technicians and their clients. Our team would also want to express our deepest gratitude to all of our consumers throughout the world for their help.
